Supporting community-led change in Whitleigh, Plymouth. Whitleigh Community Trust is a community-led charity based in Whitleigh, Plymouth. We work alongside local people to strengthen community connections, support local projects, and improve wellbeing and opportunities for people of all ages.

We believe the strongest communities are built by the people who live there. Our role is to listen, support, connect, and champion community action in Whitleigh – helping local ideas grow into practical, lasting change.

What we do

· Bring people together to build strong community relationships and reduce isolation.

· Improved shared spaces so they are greener, safer and more welcoming.

· Strengthen local voices in conversations with partners, funders, and decision-makers.

How we work

Everything we do begins with listening. We build on the existing strengths in Whitleigh and support residents to take the lead on the issues that matter most to them.

Our approach is community-led, practical, and place-based – focused on long-term impact rather than short-term fixes.
