ALLOTMENT GARDEN SUPPORT WORKER

Whitleigh Community Trust has a new job opportunity to develop and support our Community Allotment in Whitleigh, Plymouth.

We are looking for someone to join our Whitleigh Green Connector Team, on a temporary basis to help develop and support the Whitleigh Community Allotment.

  • Allotment Garden Support Worker

  • 12 hours per week

  • 6 month contract initially

  • Salary of £12 per hour

  • Post commences in June for 6 months

  • Flexible working, which can be worked in combination of week and weekend hours.

  • We are a real living wage employer

Key to this post is the ability to build kind relationships with residents and visitors that encourage people to get involved. Alongside the practical skills needed to maintain a large allotment. Along with the enthusiasm to learn gardening and growing skills as well as being happy to work outside in all weathers.
